These welded polyester felt filter bags come from Strainrite’s Sure-Weld line of liquid filter bags. The Sure-Weld style filter bag with the “Tri-Seal” P-flange provides a distinct advantaged compared to the conventional sewn filter bag using metal snap rings or poly flanges. Constructed using cutting edge welding technology that is specifically designed to bond needle punched textile fabrics, the Sure-Weld bags are among the strongest and most reliable welded filter bags on the market.

Sure-Weld filter bags come with the security of an overlap side seam, which eliminates the bump that occurs with conventional sewn snap ring filter bags.

Felt filter bags offer distinct, key advantages over typical string wound and melt blown cartridge filters. The inside-out flow dynamics make these filter bags hygienically superior because all impurities are contained inside the filter bag. Felt bags have higher solids loading capabilities which leads to lower total processing costs. Additionally, there is reduced product loss due to lower hold up volumes. Finally, bags are more user friendly and easier to change out than cartridges, reducing labor costs.
