PAK Lenticular Filter
We currently only ship to locations within the United States of America.
These lenticular filter modules are manufactured with Micro-Media providing a relatively high flow rate, zeta potential and superior retention of ultra-fine particles. The workhorse of ErtelAlsop Pak filter cartridges, the Zeta-Pak® lenticular filter module can be used in virtually any application, as it provides the greatest retention efficiencies of all media series.
These filters come pre-impregnated with Diatomaceous Earth that forms a rigid but porous cake that sieves out the particulate matter in liquid as it passes through the filter. This DE filter aid has virtually no effect on the odor and taste of the liquid filtered through it.
Pak lenticular filters are highly effective in botanical extract filtration due to their high flow rate and effective particulate removal. Additionally, the polypropylene supports and EPDM gaskets make them compatible with numerous solvent types used in extraction.

Additional Information
Botanical Extract Filtration
Pak lenticular filters with Micro-Media containing diatomaceous earth are particularly effective in botanical extract filtration as the large surface area of the lenticular filter allows for high flowrate while the diatomaceous earth filter aid efficiently removes waxes and lipids.
Materials of Construction
Materials of construction are kept to a minimum to enhance chemical compatibility and product safety. As described elsewhere, the filters contain media (cellulose, DE or Perlite, and wet strength resin), plastic support components, and stainless steel when appropriate. Gasket materials are selected for the application and are described in the Selection Guide above.
MICRO-MEDIA
Micro-Media® Series Depth Filter Media, formulated with cellulose, wet strength resin and diatomite is specifically designed for use in critical applications. All components of ErtelAlsop Micro-Media® are listed in the CFR as generally recognized as safe for contact with food as dictated by 21CFR 176.170.
ErtelAlsop Micro-Media® filter sheets are composed of cellulose pulp, Diatomaceous Earth and a wet strength resin, which charge modifies the media to exhibit a net positive charge zeta potential. This allows for the highly efficient removal of particles smaller than the filter’s nominal rating.
